How To: Photography 2

Continuing with the photography how to: I received some more good advice on photography, this time from Frank of Brooklyn. His fotolog has a huge selection of his fine photography. I sent him a quick email the other day asking if he knew of any sites with good info on photography and this is what I got back in response:
“i don’t know any sites that are street photography specific. in fact, i don’t know any websites with photo technique info. i started by just reading photo books in the library, working in a one hour photo lab and taking tons of photos. the only thing i think is good is just trying to get a decent camera. and actually, that doesn’t even matter so much. best thing is just doing it and taking pix all the time. you’ll see mistakes you made and work on making shit better…”
Solid old school advice… get out there and just go for it.
