I’ve been wrestling the past couple days with what I’m going to be posting. How is this site different from a site providing resources to artists in general? One of the main things that I was struggling with is how much “legit” stuff will I post?

Personally I detest “Art School” talk, since most of it (but certainly not all of it) seems to come from “Fine Artists” whose canvas may consist of putting yams in their ass or who have decided to address their potty training issues in the public space. So if there’s a lot of “Art School” B.S. I figured I’d leave it out.

Then I came across this site NYFA... DOH! Stupid superiority complex!

NYFA is a great source of info for Artists to find out how to get support for their work as well as a good listings section, and a plethora of fancy ass “art school” talk.
