3rd Party D.I.Y.: Create It Skate It

I saw this site awhile back and I kind of forgot about it, but I saw it linked up from a design site and thought I’d list it here.

Create It Skate is a company that will take your vector designs and turns them into skate decks. Apparently, they use a fancy vinyl sticker laying process and judging by the looks of the decks on display, The Food Network really thinks its an EXTREME marketing tool. The decks are actually comprable to “real” boards averaging $50-60 USD, depending on number of colors. Best of all no minimum run. That’s the kicker really. I have no idea how the boards are but they’re canadian maple.

I’m not really sure what my personal take on these are the price and run numbers are good, but maybe if they had some better looking decks in the gallery I wouldn’t sound so sarcastic.
