Sucka Alert: Friends of the High Line

Friends of the High Line is a 501©(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and reuse of the High Line.

What’s the HighLine, well it’s an abandoned subway line that’s elevated above the not so mean streets of NYC. It’s also a major spot for graffiti in it’s native habitiat. These guys may want to preserve it, but they also want to turn it into yet another overdesigned destination that will continue the disturbing trend of making Manhattan look like a giant ipod.

I actually don’t own an ipod, I’d rather drop $300 on art supplies
