McCaig-Welles Gallery is pleased to announce its upcoming group exhibition featuring many influential artists from all over the United States: George Thompson, Samuel Parker, Nils Thorsen, BSPEK, Tighe Clark, Henry Ng, LogikOne, Aaron Nye, Jason Honig, Ryan Kelly, Sean Taggart and Nico Berry
This group show will depict the individual artist’s perspective on the idea of “Cryptozoology”. The artists have distinctive creative backgrounds, but each have a common thread of influence reflected in their, tattoo art, comic books, graphic design, illustration, and graffiti art. Each artist took on the old concept of “Cryptozoology” and fused it with a modern point of view while utilizing both traditional and contemporary mediums. Aggressive, slick, comic narrative, and gritty street styles provides a view of the encrypted world of the hidden animals in all of us.
