ArtCollision Comes to Brooklyn’s Garage Gallery
Coastal Salon 2006 to take place June 10 to 30th

Brooklyn, NY —Beginning June 10th and continuing
through June 30th the Garage Gallery in Park Slope,
Brooklyn will present ArtCollision’s NYSF (New
York/San Francisco) Coastal Salon 2006. ArtCollision
is a non-profit affiliation of international visual
artists that promote new and emerging talents in a
revolutionary salon tour. Last seen in San Francisco,
the current exhibition includes 17 artists from the
USA, South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
ArtCollision has been collectively arranging
exhibitions in the US and Europe since 2003.

Highlights of the exhibition include a striking
meditative text based piece by Evan Crane, co-founder
of ArtCollision who had a solo exhibition at the
Garage last fall; the elegant digital cityscapes of
Bernard Bolter, co-founder of Art Collision; and
breathtaking woodcuts and collage works from artist
ELBOW-TOE.

“The diverse mix of talent, materials, subject matter
and cultural histories give the show a freshness and
relevance that is unbeatable,” according to Brian
Douglas, owner of the Garage Gallery. “We are
thrilled to host ArtCollision at Gallery Garage.”

Additionally, ArtCollision will rock the Garage on the
following Saturdays in June from 7pm to midnight:

June 10th: Opening party for ArtCollision NYSF
Coastal Salon.
June 17th: Experience the sonic experiments of G.
Lucas Crane vs. Nonhorse vs. The World. G. Lucas Crane

complimented by spoken word, his own functional
installation as well as a solo dance performance by
Michelle Cohen, who recently performed at Merce
Cunningham.
June 24th: Hector Ducci will create a projection and
