I got this email from StreetRes homey The Viking, of Chicago. Check out the show looks great!
Theres a show September 15th in Humboldt park that is a 30th (roughly) year anniversary of punk and hip hop. The show will be held at Reversible Eye gallery on California just south of Division. The Show/Opening starts at 7pm. Over 8 artists did a collaborative mural on the walls of the gallery, each of whom is involved in the discipline. Artists include:
Tyde (TCK)
Rome (TCK, TAC)
Denz
The Viking
Athel
Blutt
...and a few others.
I can honestly say that the walls look great, and each artist put alot of their own time and money into the show. The show is a suggested 10$ Donation, but this gallery definately need the money so support it if you can!
