The Anti-Advertising Agency is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our latest venture, the Samaras Project. This project, headed by Dara Greenwald (http://daragreenwald.com/), Josh MacPhee (http://justseeds.org/), and Steve Lambert (http://visitsteve.com) is set to launch in SF on October 4th and we need to assemble a “street team” to spread out around the financial district of San Francisco promoting alternative economies.

If you are able to participate you will wear a t-shirts and bag identifying you as part of the Samaras Project street team. Grouped with 2 others, you will give out postcards to passersby. The postcards promote various economies that exist within capitalism, things like Local Currencies, Worker Owned Co-operatives, Family/Friend/Neighborhood Networks, Sharing, Open Culture, Gleaning, etc.

Before we hit the streets, we will host an info session about our “product” so that the street team is well informed.

the DATE FOR THE ACTION IS WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 4th – Are you free that day between 10am and 2pm? We hope so!

We’re also looking for volunteers that can document the action – videographers and photographers.

Here’s some general info about the project:

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE GET BACK TO ME SOON and I can give you a more in depth info. If you have ever wanted to work with the AAA, this is your chance.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Steve
