Style Biter 101: National Museum gets back at Banksy

The National Gallery of England is resorting to putting art of famous old dead dudes in the street in a stunning Reverse Banksy.

I’m guessing they’re trying to be both Viral and edgy by posting reproductions of paintings by Michaelangelo next to a sex shop and Van Gogh at an outdoor cafe’. They’ve also provided a phone number so people can get an audio tour of the piece.

Personally on one hand I think its lame as its an obvious grab at getting Fine Art some streetcred, but on the other the art is way better than 99% of street art out there now.
