Books: KOONS by Taschen

I’ve decided to test the waters a bit here on Remain Awesome!. Even though I’m not a fan of most “modern art” I’ve always thought that Jeff Koons’ work was so over the top that I have to tip my hat to him. The Michael Jackson and Bubbles statue was what did it for me personally. Although I haven’t been a fan of all of his work he’s always been inspirational to me in a “Great Rock n Roll Swindle” kind of way.

When I’d read about his new mongraph coming out with Taschen Books I thought “Oh Great! I can grab a copy and read more about him and his work!”... not quite.

The book is the most in depth look at his work in book form and is huge and has tons of beautiful photos, it’s also $1000() but apparently its limited to 100 copies and comes with original Koons work in it. If you got that kind of dough to throw around, well go right ahead, and when youre done can I get next?
