This Friday, the 4th of July, NOWhere Limited’s latest exhibit, Nonpareil, opens!
Opening Party: July 4, 2008 starts at 4pm

The theme of Nonpareil is the toy or doll as art. Artists from near and far created original or altered existing 3-dimensional pieces for this show. The results: an eclectic, fun feast of styles! The show will include everything from a Jerry-Orbach-headed action figure to custom-painted Qees to a bird house with a face.
We chose the title Nonpareil for this exhibit because the word conjures up images of fun and sweets (these sculptures are definitely “eye-candy”) as well as for its literal meaning (unique.)
