@MrVlada011 Reading a few lines is hardly original. Reading them badly isn’t making it more original either. And it doesn’t have to fit a specific rigid norm, it just has to be pleasant. If anything “courageous” or out of the ordinary would be original and pleasant by default, I should be able to make a clip of me taking a dump, call it art, and win numerous movie awards with it.

Never met a rapist, so perhaps your right.. The vid IS somehow lacking in the “what you would expect” department. But the fact that he dared to do it in that matter.. Its original if nothing else. You agree? And the subject in question IS about originality. Putting a vid with no sound would be dumb..nobody would see it

Design is NOT just how something looks, but The clip is called GRAPHIC design, and that is pretty much about the looks.. I kinda ejoyed the speech thing, it is not pretencious. I think it matches the clip. Anyway, didnt mean to lecture, as you did just now. Oh, and it doesnt suck, its great is what it is.. His statements are on the money, and that is what matters. Delivering the message, but you didnt say a word about it.

@MrVlada011 Design isn’t just how something looks, it’s how it works/feels as a whole. If he wanted the clip to be about graphic design, exclusively, he shouldn’t have added sound. He should have tried to express his idea through graphics only. Since he added sound, he made the composition an audiovisual design. He created a decent looking graphic composition, with the shittiest sound possible. That is why it sucks. The end.

I know where you’re getting with this…. well… i’m not really marketing anything here… my point is… no point in hiring a designer if you can do it yourself…. if its as simple as getting someone to bring yours ideas out on paper… a desktop publisher would be more than sufficient and would cost just a fraction of the price of a designer….. just a designer talk…
